The Soul of the East: Exploring Hetian Jade, a Carrier of Millennia of Civilization

This article systematically elaborates on the multidimensional significance of Hetian Jade as the "Soul Stone of the East." Scientifically, it is a mineral aggregate primarily composed of tremolite, known for its unique fibrous interlocking structure and physical properties. Based on the environment of occurrence, it is categorized into four main types: Mountain, Mountain Stream, Seed, and Gobi materials, with Seed material, polished by rivers over millennia, being particularly precious. Its colors are diverse, including white, green (Qing Yu), green (Bi Yu/Jasper), black, brown, and others.
